I think you’re going to see a lot about the new Maybelline Super Stay Lumi Matte Foundation because it’s behaving like a very expensive foundation. It’s already been an absolute smash in Asia and has finally launched in the UK.
One of the big claims is that it has a 30 hour wear – I mean, I don’t know when I’ll ever need a base that will still be visible after 30 hours, but the formula felt so light and comfortable on my skin that I did actually wear it for a full 27 hours which obviously included one sleep. The thing to note about longevity claims is that they know that nobody needs 30 hours from their foundation but it does drive home the message that it’s a stayer. When I finally cleansed, there was definitely a trace.
